Goldsmiths in the 80s gave me a good grounding with life drawing and design skills.
Met Godfrey Amy from Jersey in 2000 who became my equine mentor and I didn't look back! Was appointed Artist in Residence by Matthew Foxton-Duffy at Royal Windsor Racecourse 2012. Ian Renton, Regional Director of Cheltenham Racecourse, commissioned me to create art for the New Princess Royal Stand in 2016.
Horses suit my personality, allowing me to display movement which has become my hallmark. Allowing texture and paint to reveal the image, light against dark, creating a sense of drama.
